Hofsjökull glacier is going to make for over 25 river crossings. Luckily, right now anyway, the forecast is for below average flow from melt. This is the section I’m most excited about and the section I’m most concerned about. Waist deep water will sweep you away, and in water just above freezing it won’t take long to get hyperthermic.
