DESIGN, BUILD, RIDE - ICELAND 2023

There are, like most of the projects I do, multiple pieces. For the "Iceland Project" Filmmaker John Richard has a vision for Design, Build, Ride and that merges riding the bike, of course, and the story of making. I'm pretty frik'n excited!
It's now 6 months sinse traveling east west, lighthouse to lighthouse, 601 miles, across Iceland through the central highlands, around glaciers, crossing 70 streams and standing a few feet away from a lava flow.
As it should be, the team - bothers Brian, Tim, nephew Lucas, Tarryn Bleakley, John Reynolds, Aaaron Kennedy, Andy (Peace Train) Long - anchor the glow of my memory. Long days. Difficult decisions. Head scratching. Persistence and commitment. Vision and planning. We did this, and we had remarkable execution
