SO MUCH COOL STUFF GOING ON PER ICELAND AND THE TRIP

So much cool stuff going on per Iceland and the trip.

The big news is I believe that as we leave Keflavík airport and look to the south we will see the mountain Keilir erupting.

Then there is the weather station Aaron has created......This will be in a post on the web page later, after I finish changing out brake pads and tires.

When I pull back the curtain on the pieces of the project that are of particular interest, art and (Iceland's) geomorphology is a big one: drawing volcanoes and glaciers, and all the pieces of them.

Since significant seismic activity on Reykjanes resumed on July 4, some 4,700 quakes have been recorded. The largest quake so far recorded, M4.8, occurred yesterday morning, July 5. Additionally, 13 earthquakes above M4 have been recorded, with a slight decrease in seismic activity since last night.

Currently, the eruption is expected to take place in the area between the mountains Keilir and Fagradalsfjall.

Experts have also speculated that Reykjanesbraut, the main road connecting Reykjavík and Keflavík International Airport, could be threatened given the right circumstances.
